The beginning of any renovation project starts with us getting to know you and your needs.  As a result, the Interior Design Phase of your project starts with an in-home consultation where we meet with you to understand you and your family’s needs, as well as the style of your home and your personal style.  This allows us to craft a design experience that is customized to your home and your needs.  For Kitchen Renovations, and Bathroom renovations, the close of this first meeting entails us taking pictures and measurements of your space in order to start detailed design.  For new construction, the start of detailed Interior Design begins with you providing us with a set of blue prints with the overall layout and footprint of the house.

Armed with this information we then go to start detailed design.  Detailed design entails us drafting layout drawings, electrical and mechanical drawings, and elevation drawings in order that you will understand both the functionality of the new design and what the renovation project will look like upon completion.  The renovation drawings are complemented by a complete selection of fixtures and finishes.

Finish selection for your project includes selection of all the details in your project including, but not limited to flooring, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, tile details, paint colours, wall papers, handle selections and metal schedule, fabrics, and window coverings.

Fixture selections during the design phase includes all lighting details, sinks, faucets, toilets, tubs, and any other plumbing and electrical fixtures that will be included in your project.

Upon completion of the design,  we then have a consultative meeting with yourself to review in detail all drawings, finishes, and fixtures and to identify any necessary changes.  Based on any changes identified at the review meeting, we make the necessary changes in the drawings and selections to finalize the design.  Upon completion of the design process, we are now ready to go to contract and then the construction phase of your project.

For Kitchen Renovations, Bathroom Renovations, and other interior renovations, the construction phase entails innova executing all work from tear-out to completed renovation construction supplying and installing all finishes.
