The Artist Pete Rumney was born and bred in England close to the coastline of Whitley Bay a few miles out of Newcastle upon Tyne. It was the Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and Cullercoats vista that first inspired the artist to paint his stunningly effective depictions of beautiful canvas art sunsets in his own inimitable way, and the powerful Northumberland coastline always continues to inspire his work to this day.
